List of Fastest Centuries in IPL
A ranked list of the fastest centuries (in terms of balls faced) ever scored in IPL history, from Chris Gayle's record 30-ball ton to other explosive hundreds.
The IPL has been the stage for some of the most explosive centuries in T20 cricket history. Chris Gayle's 30-ball century in 2013 — part of his legendary 175* innings against Pune Warriors — remains the fastest hundred in IPL history, 5 balls faster than the next entry on the list. Vaibhav Suryavanshi's 35-ball century in IPL 2025 is the second-fastest and the fastest by an Indian batter, as well as being the youngest-ever centurion in IPL history at just 13 years. Yusuf Pathan's 37-ball ton in 2010 — also the fastest while chasing a 200+ target — remains extraordinary even 15 years later. The average balls-to-century ratio in the top 10 fastest IPL hundreds is approximately 40 balls.
