A complete list of all stadiums and venues that have hosted the IPL final from 2008 to 2025, including the number of finals hosted at each ground.
Over 18 seasons, the IPL final has been hosted at 9 different venues across India and once in South Africa. The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad — the world's largest cricket stadium — has hosted the most finals (2022, 2023, 2025) and has emerged as the default host for the showpiece event. MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai is the second most frequent host with 2 finals (2012, 2024). DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai and Eden Gardens in Kolkata have each hosted 2 finals. The 2009 final was uniquely hosted in Johannesburg, South Africa, due to security concerns surrounding the Indian general election. The UAE hosted the 2020 and 2021 editions at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
