Hulk Hogan defeats André the Giant — André's 15-Year Streak Ended

Hulk Hogan successfully defended the WWF World Heavyweight Championship against André the Giant, ending André's claimed 15-year undefeated streak in professional wrestling. The championship match was the culmination of Hogan's title reign, which had begun at WrestleMania I in 1985.
